Two Gunners Custom Iron is a family owned and operated business. We provide service, repair, and performance work on all American V-Twin motorcycles.  All work is performed by the owners which ensures personal attention to every bike.  Larger jobs such as engine rebuilds and major performance work include comprehensive before and after digital photos as well as notes and specifications which provide an excellent history file for the customer.  Pick-up and delivery are free in the Nevada/Placer/Yuba County region.  We are fully insured and factory trained.

The owners, Craig and Mary, settled in Nevada County with their family back in July 2005, relocating from Phoenix AZ where they completed the Harley Davidson® technician certification program at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Additionally, Craig has an A.S. Degree in Digital Electronics and Mary has a Masters Degree in Business.

Both Mary and Craig are retired U.S. Naval Officers, both served as Gunner’s Mates during the enlisted portion of their careers – thus “Two Gunners.”

After a combined 43 years of service in the Navy both Craig and Mary wanted to continue to do what they were passionate about. The choice was easy, to live their passion for riding and wrenching on American V-Twin motorcycles. The choice to relocate to the beautiful Sierra foothills was also easy, a homecoming for Craig.

Oh! And everyone asks about our awesome logo – it was designed by Mary’s brother Mike in Wisconsin. Those are our ‘crossed cannons’ insignia from our Gunner’s Mate days above the V-twin motor.
